Yujeong Chang, MSW

Yujeong is a third-year PhD candidate at The Ohio State University College of Social Work and Lab Manager of the THRIVE Lab. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. Prior to beginning her PhD training, she served as a project manager at the University of Michigan School of Social Work on research projects pertaining to child maltreatment prevention and trauma-informed programs and practices for K-12 schools, as well as serving as a lab assistant for the Department of Psychology conducting clinical interviews.
Her research aims to advance resilience science and improve outcomes for children, youth, and families with maltreatment experiences. Specifically, she focuses on examining the complex mechanisms and transactional processes of multi-level protective factors across the socio-ecological framework that shapes the psychopathology and resilience of children and adolescents with maltreatment experiences.
