Yunzi Yun

Yunzi Yu, MSW, is a first-year PhD student at the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from OSU and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with specializations in Children, Youth, and Families, as well as Program Evaluation and Applied Research.

Yunzi’s research interests focus on learning about and developing family-based interventions for families with children experiencing behavioral challenges, particularly during early childhood. Her passion for this work stems from her prior clinical experience in an outpatient mental health clinic in New York, where she worked for three years with marginalized children and families affected by mental health challenges and developmental disabilities.
