Erin Tebben
Erin Tebben is an early childhood mental health clinician by training and works to support young children and their caregivers to ensure that they have access to supportive, developmentally appropriate, and high quality early care and education. Her research interests are centered around the use of exclusionary discipline in early childhood education, particularly against young Black children.
Ms. Tebben is a senior research associate with the Department of Human Sciences working on the Virtual Lab School project. She was also recently awarded a Child Care Dissertation Grant under the Administration for Children and Families’ Early Care and Education Research Scholars program to support her dissertation work entitled “Interrogating Anti-Blackness in Early Childhood Expulsions: A Mixed Methods Investigation of Expulsion Prevention Referrals.”
