Fei Pei, MSW, LSW
Fei Pei is a doctoral candidate and licensed social worker. Fei received her dual bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Shanghai University and Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She also holds a graduate minor in Statistical Data Analysis from the Department of Statistics and is skilled in advanced quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
Her research aims to help vulnerable children avoid negative developmental outcomes by identifying and utilizing neighborhood resources. Fei’s research focuses on multiple interdisciplinary topics including the examination of 1)the influences of neighborhood inequalities on child behavioral and mental outcomes, 2) child developmental problems and trajectories, and 3) the health and well-being of vulnerable children,such as children involved in child welfare systems, immigrant children, and children with traumatic childhood experiences.
